Wicked Chicken is basically marinated, thin-cut strips of chicken breast " that are then battered and breaded before being deep-fried. As they cook, the thin strips twist giving Wicked Chicken its distinctive look.
Bayou Buffalo Wicked Chicken is offered in a promotional combo with Cajun fries (or a side of your choice), a biscuit, and new Bleu Cheese Dipping Sauce (which I'm sure will please those of you who consider it heretical to dip Buffalo wings into ranch) for $3.99.
The introduction coincides with the last leg of the football season, as Buffalo wings tend to be popular while fans gather around the TV to watch sports (and football being the biggest sport in the US).
You can expect Bayou Buffalo Wicked Chicken to stick around through January 26, 2014.
