I picked one up for 79 cents.
The cookie came individually wrapped rather than the double pack I'm remember as a kid.
I was pretty surprised by this one. I was expecting a fairly generic red velvet flavor and a lot of icing (judging from the picture), but what I got was fairly deep chocolaty cocoa flavor and just a lightly sweet thin flavor of frosting.
It was really tasty and beyond that it sported a consistency that was moist and fell somewhere between a cake and cookie.
Overall, Grandma's Red Velvet Cookie was really enjoyable. It delivered a red velvet flavor that puts some of the so-called "gourmet cupcakes" I've eaten to shame.

ReplyDeleteHmmm...Your soup looks a lot thinner than most of the bowls I've gotten from the Chick-fil-A locations near me. Consistency is one of the greatest strengths of the Chick-fil-A chain, but this is one area where they drop the ball a little. Sometimes it's thick; other times it's thin. Sometimes it's hot; sometimes it's cold. However, soup is pretty difficult to get just right so I'll cut them a break. I still think Chick-fil-A is one of the best (if not the best) fast food chains around.
