Review: Hot Cocoa with Marshmallow Three Musketeers Minis

Hot Cocoa with Marshmallow Three Musketeers Minis are here for the holidays and are touted as "whipped up, fluffy chocolate-on-hot-cocoa taste."

A 10-ounce bag was $2.99 on sale.


Basically, these taste like a more chocolaty version of regular Three Musketeers candy bar. You get the same chocolate coating and fluffy nougat core but the nougat has a extra dose of cocoa for a definite milk chocolaty flavor.

I'm not sure where the marshmallow flavor comes in though. The nougat has somewhat of a marshmallow texture to it, so I guess there's that.

Since the center is whipped nougat with air incorporated into it, it contains less calories than the typical (more dense) chocolate bar (about 25 calories per Mini).

Overall, Hot Chocolate with Marshmallow Three Musketeers Minis probably aren't going to win over any new Three Musketeer fans, but current fans might find a lot to like with the extra hit of chocolate flavor over the original.
