The sandwich came out to $3.49 (which is like dirt cheap for fast casual fare).
This is pretty nice if you're a light eater or just looking for a light lunch that won't sit in your gut all day.
Everything was pretty fresh and the toast is just thick enough to keep your hands relatively clean while offering an enjoyable crunch.
The sandwich was pretty well balanced and I could taste each individual ingredient. The cheeses in particular was particularly notable for their strong and distinctive flavors rather than the generic blandness that's typical in fast food cheese.
If they skimped on anything, the avocado was just a thin layer of paste on the top of the toast but delivered on the rich buttery flavor.
If you feel like the flavors aren't bold enough, definitely opt for the salsa, which complemented the sandwich well and delivered a feisty, tangy kick.
Overall, I was pretty surprised that Corner Bakery was able to put together something like the Avocado & Spinach Power Panini Thin at a fast food price point. Granted there's no meat to it, but avocado isn't exactly cheap. Color me impressed.
