A 19.2-ounce box contains 4 sandwiches and cost $4.97.
I cooked one of these in the microwave first before giving it a quick toasting in the toaster oven. It had a nice maple and butter smell out of the oven and toasted decently, but it was downhill from there.
The French Toast slices were crisp at the surface but were also chewy and a little dry. There was a little sweet custardiness to it, but it was mostly lacking.
Inside, the egg and cheese turned out okay texture-wise but didn't offer much in the way of flavor. The sausage was a little worse with a slightly rubbery feel to it and a very generic sweet and mostly salty flavor. Some seasoning would have been nice.
Overall, I found very little to enjoy with IHOP at Home's French Toast Breakfast Sandwich. I was looking forward to the combination of French Toast and breakfast sandwich but the general lack of flavor was disheartening. I'm not looking forward to eating the other three sandwiches left in the freezer but maybe I'll try just cooking them in the oven for a (hopefully) better result (don't hold your breath though).
