The new menu item features a sweet lemon sauce on fried chicken. The dish draws its inspiration from Chinese-style lemon chicken, which typically features crispy fried pieces of boneless chicken with a lemon sauce.
It also not a dish you'd commonly find in China as it's more of a Westernized Chinese dish like chop suey and beef & broccoli. My guess is someone decided to make orange chicken with lemons instead of oranges.
The a la carte price for Sweet Lemon Crispy Chicken comes out to $16 HK ($2.06 US) per piece.
