Review: Starbucks - Spinach & Feta Breakfast Wrap

Starbucks' Spinach & Feta Breakfast Wrap features a wheat wrap filled with a cage-free egg white omelet, spinach, crumbled feta cheese, sundried tomato cream cheese, and roasted tomatoes.

I bought one for $3.25.

There was a lot more going on with the Spinach & Feta Breakfast Wrap than I thought there would be. Each of the ingredients added distinct flavors that managed to stand out without overpowering the others.

The wheat wrap felt like a multi-grain lavash rather than a tortilla; there's a little more texture to it and it's not as moist. I think part of the reason I like it better is because I've eaten too many tortillas, while lavash remains slightly more novel to me. The wheat wrap might have been slightly overlarge for the filling though; there was a bite or two of just wheat wrap where it was folded on itself.

Inside is a hearty portion of egg white flavored mostly with spinach and salty feta. If you like either of those, you can be sure to taste them here.

Nuance is provided by the tomatoes, which add that tangy, olive oily, Mediterranean vibe.

Overall, Starbucks' Spinach & Feta Breakfast Wrap was pretty good eats, especially if you're looking for vegetarian food at Starbucks (unless you don't eat eggs). There's a lot of flavor to be had and the price is decent.
