News: McDonald's Free Brewed Coffee March 31 Until April 13

For two weeks, McDonald's will be offering free small McCafe brewed coffees during breakfast hours starting this upcoming Monday, March 31st and running through Sunday, April 13th at participating McDonald's restaurants. No purchase is necessary.

The regular price for a small cup of brewed coffee at McDonald's is $1.19 in my area (may vary).

The promotions arrives coincidentally (or not) just shortly after the recent launch of Taco Bell's new breakfast menu, which features a series of commercials aimed at McDonald's. Jack in the Box has also recently announced a two for $3.50 special on their Breakfast Croissant Sandwiches, which they point out, are available all day and night.

Are these the opening shots to the Breakfast Wars of 2014? I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see.
