The flavors come in silver bags with a label on the front that differs only in color and test flavor numbers so you can tell them apart (red is test flavor #855, yellow is test flavor #404, and blue is test flavor #2653).
Fan can try the new flavors and vote for their favorite at www.boldflavorexperiment.com starting tomorrow, Tuesday, April 29, 2014. The flavor that receives the most votes will be revealed later this summer and will be brought back this fall. All three flavor will be revealed with the winner. As an added incentive to vote, voters will be eligible to win daily giveaways of $1,000 in gold (because, according to the brand, "Doritos" translates to "little bits of gold" in Spanish, but actually it seems to be a derivative of "doradito")
The three new Doritos Jack mystery flavor are available in stores nationwide and come in two sizes: a 10-oz bag with a suggested retail price of $4.29 and a 3.375-oz bag for a suggested retail price of $1.49.
Doritos has offered several mystery flavors in the past including: "The Quest," which turned out to be Mountain Dew-flavored; and "X-13D," which was a cheeseburger flavor.
