News: Haagen-Dazs - New 2014 Limited Edition Flavors

Haagen-Dazs is offering two "new" Limited Edition ice cream flavors and one new Limited Edition ice cream bar for 2014. 

The two "new" ice cream flavors are more like "newly limited-edition" flavors. They're Banana Split and Midnight Cookies & Cream.

Banana Split Ice Cream was previously a permanent flavor but I guess it wasn't popular enough (or they're making room for something else. It is available through September and features whipped cream ice cream mixed with banana ice cream along with fudge ribbons and strawberry and cherry pieces.

Midnight Cookies & Cream Ice Cream was a limited edition flavor once upon a time but went exclusive at Walgreens (you can thank the ice cream guru Dubba for that tidbit). Well, now it's back to limited edition and available through December. The flavor is a twist on the classic Cookies & Cream with fudge ribbons and chocolate wafers in chocolate ice cream.

The new flavors join Bourbon Pecan Praline and Peanut Butter Pie on this year's rotation.

The new Limited Edition ice cream bar for this year is Pomegranate Dark chocolate. It comes with a pomegranate ice cream center dipped in dark chocolate and completed with a dark chocolate drizzle. It's available through September.

Haagen-Dazs' Limited Edition ice cream flavors come in 14-oz cartons with a suggested retail price of $4.79, while the Limited Edition ice cream bars come in packs of three with a suggested retail price of $4.39.
