McAlister's take on the regional sandwich features Black Angus roast beef, roasted bell peppers, caramelized onions, and American cheese sauce on a toasted baguette (if you're like me, you're wondering where the actual steak is).
On the whole, the sandwich is not much different from the chain's Peppers, Onion & Beef sandwich from their "Secret Menu." The Peppers, Onion & Beef includes Black Angus roast beef, bell peppers, onions, and provolone on a toasted baguette with au jus.
McAlister's Big Bold Cheesesteak is available through July 1, 2014.
The Big Bold Sandwiches menu was introduced last year October as a premium line of new and improved sandwiches.
