In honor of
Mother's Day this upcoming Sunday,
Krispy Kreme is offering flower-shaped Springtime Flower Donuts through May 11, 2014 at participating Krispy Kreme locations in the US and Canada.
The yeast donuts feature a five-petal flower shape dipped in yellow icing and decorated with a chocolate outline.
Not to be outdone,
Dunkin' Donuts is also offering a flower-shaped, Mother's Day-theme donut that they're calling the
"Flowers for Mom" Donut.
It is also a flower-shaped yeast donut but with a slightly-different shape. The "Flowers for Mom" Donut comes with pink strawberry-flavored icing decorated with a pastel green icing.
Like the Krispy Kreme version, it's available through Mother's Day.
