To encourage sampling, the restaurant chain will be offering a free half-order of new Moonshine BBQ Wood-Fire Grilled Wings with the purchase of any adult entree on Wednesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 22. To take advantage of the offer, say "Moonshine BBQ Wings" to your server (I recommend just asking for the deal specifically).
The Moonshine BBQ menu includes:
- Sirloin with Moonshine BBQ Bacon Wrapped Shrimp - served with a choice of one side.
- Moonshine BBQ Ribs - served with a side of Aussie Fries.
- Moonshine BBQ Wood-Fire Grilled Wings - served with ranch dressing.
- Moonshine BBQ Combo Platter - Moonshine BBQ Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, 1/3 order of Moonshine BBQ Ribs, and Grilled Chicken on the Barbie. Served with a choice of a side.
- Moonshine BBQ Chopped Salad - grilled chicken, leafy mixed greens, fire-roasted corn, bacon, red onion, tomatoes, and tortilla chips. Tossed in barbecue ranch dressing and drizzled with new Moonshine BBQ sauce
- Skillet Apple Pie - apples and cinnamon baked in a flaky crust, topped with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream.
- Three Moonshine cocktails including Huckleberry Hooch (Ole Smoky Blackberry Moonshine shaken with muddled seasonal berries, orange, pineapple, and cranberry juice), Watermelon Hunch Punch (Ole Smoky Blackberry Moonshine mixed with fresh watermelon, lemonade, and topped with a wedge of watermelon), and Just Peachee (Georgia Moon Peach Moonshine, Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey mixed with peach puree, apple juice, and orange juice, served with a cinnamon sugar rim).
I asked for a description of the new Moonshine BBQ Sauce and received the following response from the company: "Outback's chef-inspired Moonshine BBQ sauce was designed specifically for the new menu items and features notes of cherry, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar and other secret ingredients we can’t give away."
