Review: Pepperidge Farm - Cheddar Bacon Goldfish Puffs

Pepperidge Farm's Cheddar Bacon Goldfish Puffs are puffed up baked goldfish-shaped snacks with a combination of bacon and cheddar flavor.

A 7-oz package was $2.50.

If you're never tried these, the texture is similar to Cheetos Cheese Puffs but are baked rather than fried. They're airy but with a slightly harder crunch than Cheetos. They're about twice the size of regular Goldfish crackers.

The cheddar flavor isn't as "bold" as Cheetos and is more like Goldfish crackers. It's tinged with a bacon taste that reminds me a little of those bacon-flavored crackers that Nabisco doesn't make anymore. The combination is nice enough but I'd probably prefer one or the other rather than both.

Overall, Pepperidge Farm's Cheddar Bacon Goldfish Puffs add a nice flavor to the puffed cheese snacks category. I like Cheetos Cheese Puffs better but if you prefer something lighter, these offer a similar feel and a bit of variety.
