A 11.2-oz box contains two melts and cost $3.12.
This one cooks up pretty easily, you just take it out of the wrapper and nuke it for about 2 minutes. It didn't come with a crisping sleeve, but it turned out pretty well.
The pretzel had the requisite flavor (especially at the ends) along with a soft, airy crumb and the proper amount of chewiness.
The filling tasted great and delivered an enjoyable creamy artichoke flavor, but it was uniformly mushy throughout. There wasn't too much chicken going on, and even when I came across a piece, the texture didn't change. It wasn't like melted ooze so much as it was like a paste.
The parmesan added a sharp salty bite and the poppy seeds added just a touch of crunch.
Overall, Better Bakery Company's Grilled Chicken, Spinach & Artichoke Pretzel Melt was a mixed bag for me. I liked the flavor and I liked the pretzel bread, but the filling needs to feel more like chunks of chicken and melted cheese rather than something you'd squeeze out of a tube.
