I trotted over to their headquarters just the other day to check them all out (and to eat them, of course. More on that in another post). Here's what I learned about the Biscuit Taco while at the Taco Bell mothership:
The Biscuit Taco marks Taco Bell's continued push to innovate the fast food/quick-serve breakfast category; basically, to do your classic breakfast items, but with a Taco Bell twist.

As part of the new Biscuit Taco, you'll also find new options for crispy tortilla chip-encrusted chicken, country gravy, and jalapeno honey sauce.
Here's the complete line-up for Taco Bell's Biscuit Taco:
- Sausage, Egg and Cheese
- Bacon, Egg and Cheese
- Sausage and Cheese
- Egg and Cheese
- Sausage and Gravy
- Crispy Chicken with Country Gravy
- Crispy Chicken with Jalapeno Honey
The Crispy Chicken and the Sausage and Gravy versions were inspired by Southern cuisine.

As promised, if you have a hankering to try Taco Bell's new Biscuit Tacos (and live in the LA/OC area), you'll find them at the following locations:
- 131 E. Orangethrope Ave.; 3000 Yorba Linda Blvd., Fullerton, CA
- 15006 La Mirada Blvd., La Mirada, CA
- 10551 Carmenita Rd., Santa Fe Springs, CA
You better be quick, though, as they're only around for about another week.
Please bear in mind that the Biscuit Taco is still in initial testing, which means they might never go national or they might change markedly before they go national.
