For whatever reason, they've been offering these for the ridiculously cheap price of $1.99 (which is less than you could buy the same combination frozen from the supermarket or any other fast food chain).
The meats were a little disappointing. The sausage looked a bit like Jimmy Dean's. It was a little spongy and mostly salty without much in the way of other seasonings. The bacon was actually better out in the wild (i.e. alone) rather than in a burger or sandwich. The flavor comes through decently, but the bacon offered very little in the way of crispiness.
The rest of the components were pretty good.
The biscuit was large with a hardy crust and a soft, slightly buttery crumb; the hash rounds were crispy, but moist and potato-y inside; and the egg was a thin, folded scramble with a nice soft texture.
Overall, Carl's Jr.'s Hearty Breakfast was a mixed bag of your breakfast staples, but for the dirt cheap price, it's very easy to overlook its faults.
