Review: Chick-fil-A - Cookie Sundae

Chick-fil-A's Cookie Sundae features broken up pieces of one of their Chocolate Chunk Cookies, topped with their vanilla "Icedream" soft serve, Hershey's chocolate syup, whipped cream, and a maraschino cherry.

I got one for $1.99.

For the most part, all your basic sundae components are here except for peanuts. In their stead are fairly large cookie pieces. They were very crunchy (and pretty hard) with sizable chunks of both milk and dark chocolate.

Everything else is pretty much as you'd expect. I'm not a huge fan of Chick-fil-A's soft serve; it has a particular flavor that I found off-putting, but most people like it fine.

The cookies pieces were very crunchy with smooth chocolate and bits of oats. The syrup was sweet and chocolaty and the whipped cream was lightly sweet and creamy.

Overall, Chick-fil-A's Cookie Sundae was just okay for me. The crunch of the cookies contrasted a little too much with everything else and it ended up feeling almost like two separate desserts.
