Review: Pepperidge Farm - Pumpkin Spice Milanos

Pepperidge Farm's Pumpkin Spice Milanos are a new fall offering this year and feature the brand's signature cookie biscuit sandwich with dual layers of chocolate and pumpkin spice filling inside.

I bought a 7-oz bag for $1.99 on sale.

You get the same crisp cookies and smooth milk chocolate filling that you get with standard Milanos with these.

The only difference is the pumpkin spice filling, which is colored orange and sports a creamy pumpkin flavor with a strong dose of pumpkin pie spices.

It made for a nice combo with the milk chocolate, but sometimes if seemed like one would cover up the flavor of the other.I wondered if it would have been better to only have a pumpkin spice filling rather than pairing it with chocolate. It's not like pumpkin and chocolate is a common pairing.

Still, overall, Pepperidge Farm's Pumpkin spice Milanos were really good. If neither the chocolate nor the pumpkin spice flavors were fully expressed, they were still quite tasty and very enjoyable.
