The items being tested include:
- Sriracha Beef Griller (that's their grilled burrito)
- Sriracha Taco and Taco Supreme
- Sriracha Quesarito (a burrito-quesadilla hybrid that's also available during the test as part of a $5 Box with a Doritos Locos Taco, Crunchy Taco, and a medium drink).
- Sriracha Nachos
- Sriracha Grande Scrambler (a breakfast burrito)
The flavor profile is described as "tangy" and "hot," which might be promising to those of you who are still missing lava sauce.
According to Stephanie Perdue, Vice President of Marketing at Taco Bell, "Our customers love spicy food and we know that Sriracha is on the top of their list as the latest, most relevant flavor. This test brings together two things our consumers are passionate about: Taco Bell and Sriracha, and we’re looking forward to hearing the feedback from our fans."
The test is slated to run through mid-November.
