Wasabi Ginger is 2014's Lay's Do Us a Flavor Winner

The votes are in, and Lay's Kettle Cooked Wasabi Ginger-flavored chips is this year's winner of the Lay's Do Us a Flavor contest. That means it will remain in stores and that Meneko Spigner McBeth, who submitted the winning flavor, will be pocketing the greater of a $1 million grand prize or 1% of the flavor's sales through July 1, 2015.

Wasabi Ginger won out over the other three finalists: Cappuccino, Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese, and Mango Salsa (it was also my favorite out of the bunch although I didn't vote).

If you liked the other flavors, now's the time to stock up, as Wasabi Ginger is the only one that will be sticking around.
