McDonald's Intros Salmon Burger in Taiwan

McDonald's newest sandwich in Taiwan is a breaded salmon burger as well as a salmon and beef "surf and turf" burger.

The breaded salmon filet is accompanied by a dill sauce as well as onions and lettuce (plus carrots and cabbage on the surf and turf version).

It's available for a limited time through January 5, 2015, while supplies last.

A salmon burger isn't so strange for McDonald's in Taiwan, where they have previously offered a breaded shrimp patty (which was originally a Japanese McDonald's menu item that is still occasionally offered).

While some might love the idea of a breaded salmon burger, others might regard it as a glorified Filet-O-Fish.
