Review: 7-Eleven - Spicy Chicken Biscuit

7-Eleven's Spicy Chicken Biscuit is a biscuit sandwich with a breaded spicy chicken patty in the middle.

I bought one for $1.

These can be found either cold in the refrigerated packaged food display or warm with the prepared hot foods.

I got mine from under the heat lamps, but even so, there isn't any crispness to be found unless you pop these in a toaster oven at your work or home (or if your local 7-Eleven has a turbo convection oven, you can ask them to give it a quick toasting).

The biscuit is soft, fluffy, and buttery but also alternately moist and dry. At the drier parts, it's also very crumbly.

The spicy chicken patty is made of ground chicken breast meat. The breading isn't crunchy at all but there's a moderate amount of heat to it as well as a flavorful seasoning. The chicken inside sports a finely ground texture and a decent amount of moistness. The patty partners up well with the biscuit.

Overall, 7-Eleven's Spicy Chicken Biscuit is good, cheap, and convenient but is also very much like something frozen you pop into the microwave at home (although similar products tend to come in packs of 10 or more). Out of the warmer, it's really as fast an on-the-go breakfast sandwich as you're going to get.
