Review: Del Taco - Hash Brown Sticks

Del Taco's Hash Brown Sticks are your typical fast food deep-fried diced potatoes, except in rectangular stick form.

An order of five goes for $1.09.

There were a few broken up pieces in my order that may or may not have added up to five, but other than that, they fried up rather nicely.

Each piece was wonderfully crunchy with a moist, slightly greasy, potato-y interior. They cooked it just a little longer than most places, which led to that really great crunch, but not so long that they started burning. I'm not sure if it was by luck or design though. Either way, they were really nice.

Overall, Del Taco's Hash Brown Sticks provided an excellently satisfying crunch and shareable form factor to a fast food breakfast staple.
