Dairy Queen's February 2015 Blizzard of the Month

Dairy Queen's featured Blizzard this February is the Red Velvet Cake Blizzard. The blended frozen dessert features vanilla soft serve with red velvet cake pieces and cream cheese frosting mixed in.

If you're looking for a review, I tried it around this time last year when it was also the Blizzard of the Month.

Also featured this month is the new DQ Red Velvet Cupid Cake which includes the Red Velvet Cake Blizzard as part of a made-to-order frozen cake. The price on the cake starts at $9.99.

To go with the cake, the chain is also offering the DQ Red Velvet Spoon Case. It's a rectangular jewelry gift box covered in red velvet fabric with a DQ Red Spoon on a white satiny pillow inside. The case (and spoon) is priced at $4.99 plus shipping, while supplies last. All net proceeds for every spoon case sold goes to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. On the savory side of things, Dairy Queen is offering the 4-piece Chicken Strip Basket for $4.99 this month at participating locations. The meal features 4 white-meat breaded chicken strips, fries, Texas toast, and a choice of dipping sauce.
