Review: McDonald's - Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich

McDonald's Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich features a seasoned grilled chicken breast filet, leaf lettuce, tomato, and vinaigrette on a toasted artisan bun.

I paid $4.39 for one.

The chicken was lightly seasoned with a nice meaty quality. It was fairly juicy but a bit undersized for the bun (which isn't exactly huge either) and not particularly tender.

McDonald's kept it pretty simple and understated here. The vinaigrette has a light, creamy, garlicky taste to it.

For produce, there's a lone slice of tomato paired with a good-sized piece of leaf lettuce. Both were fairly fresh.

The bun has a soft egg-washed sheen to it. It's the same bun as you find on the Bacon Clubhouse. It's soft and dense with just a bit of chew and sweetness to it.

Overall, McDonald's Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich was pretty good for a very basic, mild take on a chicken sandwich but lacked something to make it pop (like say a bold sauce or even onions). My particular piece of chicken was undersized but I figured it was more of an isolated case.
