The new menu item features chicken tenderloins marinated in a blend of smoked garlic and Morita chili peppers and then battered, breaded and deep-fried in their normal fashion.
Smoky Garlic Chile Chicken is being offered in a special $4.99 combo that includes four tenderloins, a side, a buttermilk biscuit, and Garlic Herb dipping sauce (or another sauce if you so choose).
It's available for a limited time at participating Popeyes locations through June 28, 2015.
