Subway Testing Antibiotic-Free Chicken and New Chicken Caprese Sub

Subway is testing new antibiotic-free chicken strips in at least one location here in Southern California and is featuring it in a new Chicken Caprese sandwich.

It was only this year that they introduced new chicken strips containing no artificial flavors or preservatives, so it appears they're looking into taking it a step further. The strips being tests are touted as "No antibiotics ever. All-vegetarian diet. No artificial ingredients. No hormones or steroids added."

The new Chicken Caprese sandwich features a default (but customizable) configuration of the new chicken strips along with new fresh mozzarella, new basil mayo, spinach, and tomato on flatbread.

The price for the new sandwich is $5 for a 6-inch.
