Pizza Hut's Triple Chocolate Brownies feature nine squares of chocolate brownies made with Hershey's cocoa, Special Dark chocolate, and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
I got an order for
$5.99.
As
Q stated in his news post about this product, the Triple Chocolate Brownie seems to be a direct response from Pizza Hut to
Papa John's Double Chocolate Brownie. And like Papa John's brownie, this was fairly simple and pretty tasty.
My Triple Chocolate Brownies had plenty of chocolate chips. As you can see, most of the squares were pretty full of them. The brownies were also baked perfectly, which gives Pizza Hut a leg up on my own attempts at making brownies from a store-bought mix. The edges weren’t burned and it was chewy and gooey throughout (while it was warm).
The third "layer" of chocolate is the Special Dark. It definitely added a welcomed richness to the brownie. If they were just trying to take a stab at Papa John's with this addition, then it paid off.
Overall, I enjoyed Pizza Hut's Triple Chocolate Brownies. If you’re already ordering pizza and you’ve got a sweet tooth, this is a good move to round out your meal.
