McDonald's New Zealand Gets New Chicken Curry Pies

McDonald's New Zealand is baking up new Butter Chicken Pies. Butter chicken is a mild Indian curry dish.

Additionally, they've also added a Plum 'N Custard Pie. Both are available for a limited time only and are basically hand-held, portable versions of a pot pie (which is pretty awesome if you've ever happened upon an Australian meat pie shop here in the States).

Savory hand-pies are quite popular in the country and McDonald's resurrected a local brand back in 2013, when they introduced the Steak Mince 'N' Cheese Pie. They've also offered a Chicken 'N' Vegetable Pie not too long ago.
