Chick-fil-A's Chicken Platter includes a breakfast portion of crispy chicken breast, scrambled eggs, a buttermilk biscuit, as well as a container of white pepper gravy with sausage.
I paid
$4.69 for the platter.
I don't know if people just don't order this, but while most of the breakfast menu items includes a picture, the Chicken Platter does not (at least not at the restaurant I visited).
The chicken is just a smaller portion of their signature chicken (I would say it's about 2/3rds the size). While it was delicious and juicy, it wasn't crispy nor crunchy on this occasion (it's been crispy all the other times I've had their chicken).
The eggs were a little heavy and dense rather than fluffy; they're more like what you might make at home sometimes. There's definitely a creaminess and buttery factor in play here. They give you a lot of egg compared to similar breakfast platters.
The white pepper gravy offered an rich, thick, and enjoyable combination of creamy and peppery qualities as well as a good number of sizable chunks of seasoned sausage patty. It goes really well with the fluffy, buttery biscuit, which also had some liquid butter added to it for good measure.
Overall, besides the snafu with the soft fried chicken batter, I really liked Chick-fil-A's Chicken Platter all around but especially liked the biscuit and gravy.
