Review: Doritos Jacked 3D Bacon Cheddar Ranch Chips

Doritos Jacked 3D Bacon Cheddar Ranch Chips feature 3D-triangular chips with a bacon cheddar ranch seasoning.

I bought an 11.5-oz bag for $2.50 on sale.

Each chip has walled segments that add about a half centimeter of depth to them over a normal tortilla chips. The segments also make up an almost maze-like design. The resultant texture offers a hearty crunch and multiple layers of it. The feel of it brings to mind Fritos Flavor Twists.

Taste-wise, Doritos Jacked 3D Bacon Cheddar Ranch chips are surprisingly mild compared to the bolder (and sometime overwhelming) flavors typical of the the Doritos Jacked line. It's mostly a creamy ranch and cheddar flavor with hints of bacon. With the lighter seasoning, the underlying fried corn is more prominent.

Overall, I really enjoyed Doritos Jacked 3D Bacon Cheddar Ranch chips. I liked how the bacon, cheddar, and ranch combination came together and it's quite easy to eat too many.
