New Ultimate Chicken Sandwich at Sonic

Sonic looks to offer a more premium chicken sandwich experience with the limited-time offering of the new Ultimate Chicken Sandwich featuring what they're calling the "thickest" white meat fried chicken breast fillet.

The new sandwich comes in two varieties: Traditional or Classic (an odd choice of naming since the words are sometimes used synonymously).

The Traditional comes with mayo and crinkle-cut pickles, while the Classic includes mayo, lettuce, and tomatoes (basically the same toppings as Sonic's regular grilled or crispy chicken sandwiches). Both sandwiches come on a brioche bun.

The new menu item sounds a lot like Carl's Jr.'s and Hardee's Big Chicken Fillet Sandwich, which was introduced last year and billed by the company as "the biggest chicken sandwich among all major fast food chains."
