McDonald's Holiday Menu in Singapore Includes Truffle Fries and Grand Breakfast Platter

McDonald's 2015 holiday menu in Singapore includes new truffle-flavored fries and a fancier Big Breakfast that they're calling the Grand Breakfast Platter (because "grand" is better than "big," apparently).

The Truffle Flavored Shaker Fries is basically a regular order of McDonald's famous fries with a package of truffle-flavored seasoning that you shake in a bag with the fries (like Shake 'n Bake without the baking). Shaker Fries are a popular concept for McDonald's abroad but have only been recently tested here in the U.S. Still, the future possibility of cheap truffle-ish fries nationwide here in the U.S. might be mighty tempting for some.

The Grand Breakfast Platter centers around a grilled cut of chicken that comes with a side of caramelized white onion, grilled button mushrooms and a slice of cheddar cheese on scrambled eggs, and a toasted wholegrain English muffin.

Also on the menu are the Red Velvet Oreo McFlurry, new Grilled Chicken Clubhouse Burger, new Beef Clubhouse Burger, and Coke Float.

The Clubhouse Burgers are very similar to what they offer here in the States: a beef or grilled chicken patty along with lettuce, tomato slices, chicken bacon strips, caramelized onions, and white cheddar cheese.

The Red Velvet Oreo McFlurry mixes vanilla soft serve with red velvet-flavored syrup and bits of Oreo cookies. It's not too different from the Red Velvet Oreo Shake Burger King has been offering here.
