The complete biscuit goes for $3.99 and for $3.79 sans egg. I received one courtesy of Hardee’s.
Hardee's has decided to add some flare to their "chicken for breakfast" menu with this latest biscuit sandwich. They've basically loaded up their normal chicken filet biscuit with all the ingredients we've come to expect out of our fast food breakfasts. The results are hit and miss.
My biggest problem with this sandwich was the cheese. Hardee's claims that it's Swiss but I detected no discernible flavor whatsoever. It's closer to white American cheese product than it is to Swiss. It added a bit of creaminess between the egg and chicken but was barely noticeable otherwise. The egg was nothing special either but I suppose it's not really a breakfast biscuit without it. I’d recommend adding some salt and pepper to taste if you're planning on trying this sandwich.
