The return of the sauce makes it the hottest sauce currently available on the Taco Bell menu (although the Fiery Ghost Pepper offered with the Dare Devil Loaded Griller may have been spicier). You can check out my impressions of Diablo sauce here.
Interestingly, this time around, some Diablo sauce packets will sport a blank space in lieu of the usual witty one-liner. I'm told it's "intentionally blank for customers to write their own wisdoms." There's to be a social media aspect to the spaces, so you can keep an eye out on Taco Bell's social media channels if that's of interest to you.
It's not all good news for the sauce-inclined at Taco Bell though. With the arrival of Diablo, Salsa Verde is being discontinued, although you can still find it by the bottle in grocery stores.
