A 5.3 oz. cup cost me 88 cents on sale.
I was quite hesitant to try these, to be honest. The idea of savory yogurt always makes me think of Indian food and, of course, dinner. I consider yogurt to be a breakfast and snack item at best, and am familiar and happy with its sweet iterations.
Fage Greek yogurt is probably my favorite brand for the style, since I find it lacks that almost acrid bite so common with Greek yogurt. The Crossover version was no different. The yogurt texture was smooth, decadently thick, and left no unpleasant aftertaste.
Overall, I found the Coconut Curry with Cashews flavor of Fage's new Crossover yogurt line to be surprisingly tasty. My mouth was slightly confused upon first bite, but the more I ate, the more I enjoyed the mildly sweet and salty yogurt combination. I would say that this is the most successful of the savory Crossover flavors.
