Popeyes' $5 Bonafide Big Box is Back

Popeyes returns their popular $5 Bonafide Big Box deal for a limited time leading into September 2016 at participating locations.

The combo offers a choice of either two pieces of fried chicken or three Handcrafted Tenders plus two sides and a buttermilk biscuit for $5.

The meal is comparable to KFC's long-running $5 Fill Up deal, which offers a choice of various entrees plus a side (in most cases), a drink, and a chocolate chip cookie.

The chain is also offering the new, limited-time Cherry Cheesecake Pie as their latest featured dessert. It's a fried turnover-style pie with a dual-piped filling of cherry and cheesecake plus crumbled graham crackers.

You can expect the $5 Bonafide Big Box to stick around until mid-to-late September if the past is any indication.
