KFC Serves Up New Pumpkin & Feta Wrap in Australia

It might be a coincidence, but KFC joins the pumpkin parade with the new Pumpkin & Feta Twister over in Australia.

The new menu item features grilled chicken, crumbled feta, roast pumpkin, lettuce, and smoky chipotle mayo, wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla. The pumpkin in question looks to be kabocha, commonly known as Japanese pumpkin, rather than the orange-skinned pumpkin that's more common here in the US.

Considering that it's currently spring in Australia, the Pumpkin & Feta Twister more likely came about from just happenstance rather than any attempt to join the popular autumn trend.
