Wendy's Bacon Queso Baked Potato isn't on the menu but it's something you can custom order while they still have queso available. Just ask for a Bacon & Cheese Baked Potato with the queso subbed in for the cheese.
I bought one for
$3.29 (may vary).
Like the
Bacon Queso Fries, the queso (cheese sauce) went really well with potato and bacon. It was smooth, decently thick, and creamy with a strong note of poblano peppers as well as a potent kick of heat.
The baked potato was tender and robust. It mellowed out the heat more so than fries.
The bacon came sprinkled quite generously and brought with it an enjoyable crunch and salty bacon goodness.
I have no complaints as far as the Wendy's Bacon Queso Baked Potato goes and welcome it as as more flavorful version of the chain's regular Bacon & Cheese Baked Potato, which has long been a favorite of mine.
