Long John Silver's Bolsters Menu with New Deep Fried Twinkie and Sweet n' Tangy Shrimp

Long John Silver's hits the tail end of summer with the introduction of two new, limited-time menu items: Deep Fried Twinkies and Sweet n' Tangy Panko Butterfly Shrimp.

The new fried dessert was tested earlier this summer and features the iconic creme-filled golden sponge cake dipped lightly in batter and then deep-fried. You can get one for 99 cents, two for $1.89, or 12 for $9.99 (may vary).

Sweet n' Tangy Panko Butterfly Shrimp features panko-crust, crispy-fried butterfly shrimp tossed in a sweet and tangy glaze. A combo that includes six shrimp, natural-cut fries, and two hushpuppies is being offered for $4.99.

Both items can be found at participating location nationwide through the end of the year.
