Please note that a lot of the bonus cards are more appropriately described as "bonus coupons" and are not gift cards. They typically have no cash value and include an expiration date. You should check with the respective restaurants for details if you have any questions. I've listed the expiration dates where I could find them.
Some are online only, while others are at participating locations only so be sure to ask.
Here's a running list of restaurant gift card bonuses/freebies available for the 2017 holiday season (I'll update if more come in):
- Applebee's - Get a $10 bonus card when you buy $50 in gift cards. Offer good through 1/7/18. Bonus card expires 3/4/18.
- Benihana - Get a $10 bonus card for every $50 in gift cards you buy through December 31, 2017. Bonus card is valid 1/2/18 through 3/31/18.
- BJ's Brewhouse - Get a $10 bonus card for every $50 worth of BJ's e-gift cards purchased or a $25 bonus card for every $100 worth of e-gift cards plus a 20% off VIP card, while supplies last through 1/1/18. Bonus card and VIP card are valid 1/1/18 - 2/13/18.
- Blaze Pizza - Get a free pizza card when you buy $25 in gift cards through 12/31/17. Card is valid 1/1/17 - 2/28/17.
- Bonefish Grill - Free $10 bonus card with every $50 in gift cards purchased through 12/31/17. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 - 2/11/18.
- Boston Market - Free $5 bonus card with each $25 gift card purchase thorough 12/31/17 online and at participating restaurants, while supplies last. Bonus card good 11/24/17 through 1/31/18.
- Bravo Cucina Italiana - Free $10 bonus card with each $50 in gift cards purchased through 12/30/17. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 through 3/15/18.
- Bruegger's Bagels - Free $5 bonus card when you buy $25 in gift cards.
- Buca di Beppo - Get two $10 bonus cards with every $50 gift card purchase through 12/31/17. The first bonus card is valid 1/1/18 through 1/31/18, while the second is valid 2/1/18 through 2/28/18.
- Buffalo Wild Wings - Get a $5 bonus when you buy $25 in gift cards through 12/31/17. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 through 2/28/18.
- California Pizza Kitchen - Get a $20 bonus card when you buy $100 in gift cards through 1/1/18. Through 11/22/17, get an extra $10 bonus card. $20 bonus card is valid 1/8/18 - 2/25/18. Extra $10 bonus card is valid through 1/7/18.
- Cheesecake Factory - 11/24/17 to 11/27/17 - Get two eSlice of Joy Cards (each good for a free slice of cheesecake) for every $25 in gift cards or eGift cards purchased online. Each eSlice of Joy Card is redeemable from 1/1/18 - 3/31/18.
The rest of the season get one eSlice of Joy Card for every $25 in gift cards purchased.
- Chili's - Get a $10 bonus card when you buy $50 in gift cards through 12/31/18. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 through 2/7/18.
- Chipotle - Through 12/24/17, when you buy a Chipotle gift card for $30 or more in store, you receive a "buy-one-get-one-free" entree coupon on your receipt that you can redeem on your next visit. The coupon is valid through 12/31/17.
- Cotton Patch Cafe - Free $5 bonus card when you buy $25 in gift cards. Bonus card good 1/1/18 through 2/28/18.
- Culver's - Get a certificate good for a free value basket when you buy $25 or more gift cards through 12/25/17. Certificates expire 2/26/18.
- Del Taco - In Store - from 11/21/17 through 1/1/18 -
- Purchase $15 in gift cards and receive one coupon good for two free Grilled Chicken Tacos
- Purchase $25 in gift cards and receive two coupons each good for two free Grilled Chicken Tacos
- Del Taco - Online - from 11/21/17 through 1/1/18 -
- Purchase $30 in gift cards online and receive one coupon good for one free Small Size Combo Meal
- Purchase $100 in gift cards online and receive four coupons each good for one free Small Size Combo Meal. Cyber Monday bonuses on November 27 and November 28,2017 get two times the number of coupons.
Coupons expire 3/4/18.
- Denny's - Get $50's worth of Denny's coupons when you buy a $25 gift card through 12/25/17. Coupon is valid 1/1/18 - 3/31/18.
- Einstein Bros. - Get a $5 bonus card when you buy a $25 gift card through 12/31/17. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 - 2/28/18.
- Earl of Sandwich - Get two $5 bonus cards when you buy a $25 gift card through 12/31/17. First bonus card is valid for the month of January 2018 and the second bonus card is good for the month of February 2018.
- Houlihan's - Black Friday - From November 24 - 26, 2017, get $20 in dining certificates for every $50 in gift cards purchased in-restaurant at participating Houlihan's. Otherwise, get a $10 dining certificate when you buy $50 in gift cards through 12/25/17.
- Fleming's - Get a $20 bonus card for every $100 you spend on gift cards through 12/31/17. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 - 2/11/18.
- Islands - Get a $5 bonus card for every $25 in gift cards purchased. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 - 1/31/18.
- Jamba Juice - Get a $5 voucher when you buy $25 in gift cards through 12/31/17. Voucher is valid from 1/1/18 through 1/31/18.
- Krispy Kreme - Get a $5 bonus card when you buy a $25 gift card at participating locations.
- Mimi's Cafe - Get a $5 bonus card with every $25 in gift cards purchased. Bonus card valid from 1/1/18 through 2/28/18.
- Morton's - Get a $50 bonus card when you buy a $250 gift card through 12/24/17. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 - 5/31/18.
- Newk's - Get a $5 gift card when you buy $25 in gift cards.
- Olive Garden - Get a $10 bonus card with every $50 in gift card purchases through 1/1/18. Bonus card is valid 1/2/18 - 3/31/18.
- Outback Steakhouse - Get a $10 bonus card with every $50 gift card purchase through 12/31/17. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 - 2/11/18.
- Panera Bread - Get a $10 bonus card with every $50 in gift card purchases in cafes only through 12/31/17. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 - 1/22/18.
- Online Only 11/24-27, 2017 - Free $20 in bonus cards for every $100 in gift cards purchased online.
- Peet's - Get $5 bonus card with any $25 spent on gift cards through 12/31/2017. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 through 1/31/18.
- Shake Shack - Get a $5 bonus card with every $25 in gift card purchases through 1/2/18. Bonus card is valid 1/3/18 through 2/28/18.
- Stonefire Grill - 10% gift card bonus on online gift card purchases of $50 or more through 11/24/17.
- P.F. Chang's - Get a $20 bonus card when you buy $100 in gift cards through 12/31/17. Bonus card is valid 1/1/17 - 3/31/18.
- Red Lobster - "Give a $50 gift card and choose between a free appetizer or $10 off coupon." Offer expires 12/31/17. Bonus coupon valid 1/2/18 - 2/5/18.
They are also doing a Cyber Monday deal, on 11/27/17, where you get 10% off your entire gift card order.
- Red Robin - Get a $5 bonus card when you buy a $25 gift card or a $10 bonus card when you buy a $50 gift card. Bonus card valid 1/1/18 - 2/28/18.
- Ruby Tuesday - Get a $15 bonus card for every $50 in gift cards you buy. Bonus card valid 1/1/18 - 3/6/18.
- Ruth's Chris Steakhouse - Get a 10% bonus card on gift card purchase of $250 or more through 12/31/17. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 - 3/31/18.
- Steak 'n Shake - Get a $5 bonus certificate when you buy $20 in gift cards through 12/31/17. The certificate is valid 1/3/18 - 2/28/18.
- Taco Bell - in-restaurant only - Get a free combo meal of your choice when you buy or reload $25 or more in gift cards.
- TGI Friday's - Get a $5 to $25 (randomly; it's a scratcher) bonus card plus a free Redbox movie or game rental for every $25 spent on gift cards, while supplies last through 12/31/17. Bonus card is valid 1/1/18 - 2/28/18.
- Wahoo's - Get two $5 gift certificates when you buy $30 in gift cards through 12/24/17.
- White Castle - Get a free $5 bonus card with purchase of $25 in gift cards through 12/31/17, while supplies last. Bonus card good from 1/1/18 - 2/28/18.
