Review: 7-Eleven - Oreo Mint Hot Chocolate

7-Eleven's Oreo Mint Hot Chocolate features hot cocoa with Oreo pieces and mint flavoring.

A 12-oz cup was $1.69 at my local store but turned out to be free because I had a free offer in the app that was automatically applied.

As with the Oreo Hot Chocolate they offered a while back, the hot drink really does taste like drinking an Oreo cookie. There's a pleasant but not overbearing cool mint flavor and an extra dose of chocolate from the Oreos. The Oreo pieces must be ground really fine as the drink isn't gritty or anything like that. It does seem to color the drink a darker shade though.

While the drink isn't gritty or powdery, it does have a substantial amount of body to it and a slight oiliness that coats the tongue, which could be off-putting to some.

Still, on the whole, I quite enjoyed the Oreo Mint Hot Chocolate. It hits the right notes of mint and chocolate and fits the season very well.
