Walmart Rolls Out Italy-Sourced Private Brand Grocery Line

Walmart launches a new Italian-themed private brand line of groceries sourced from Italy and created in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency, an Italian government organization dedicated promoting Italian companies abroad.

The new line, which they're calling "Sam's Choice Italia," marks the first time Walmart has created a line of food items dedicated to a single country. The initial rollout includes 40 items, including gnocchi, risotto, and canned tomatoes, and can be found in stores as well as online at Walmart.com.

According to the company, the line "serves up the rich, savory tastes of Italy at [Walmart's] everyday low prices."
