Krispy Kreme Australia Features Christmas Tree Kit-Kat Donut

Like here in the US, Krispy Kreme Australia has a selection of festive donuts to get you in the holiday mood. Unlike here in the US, they're offering a new Christmas Tree Donut with a Kit-Kat bar serving as the trunk.

While it may seem a little weird to stick a Kit-Kat into a shell donut, it's actually a regular menu item in several countries, including the Philippines and Malaysia (where they offer a donut with a Kit-Kat on top as well as one with a Kit-Kat inside).

The Christmas Tree donut is a yeast Christmas tree-shaped donut dipped in green icing and stuffed with a single Kit-Kat bar. It comes decorated with a drizzle of white icing and a sprinkle of nonpareils.

Also for the holidays in Australia, Krispy Kreme is serving:

- Reindeer Donut - A filled yeast donut dipped in chocolaty icing and filled with caramel. It comes complete with candy eyes, a candy-coated chocolaty nose, and chocolaty-coated pretzels for antlers.

- Santa Belly Donut - A filled yeast donut dipped in red truffle icing with chocolate creme in the center. It's finished with a chocolate ganache belt and a candy buckle.

- Gingerbread Donut - An Original Glazed donut dipped in cinnamon and ginger white chocolate truffle icing and sprinkled with biscuit crumbs.
