The trio sandwich each comes on a new rice flour baguette that's made with a blend of wheat and rice flour. Here's what you can expect from each sandwich:
- Asian Fried Chicken Sandwich - Crispy fried chicken strips, fresh cucumbers, Asian-style slaw, and gochujang mayo on a toasted rice flour baguette. It's meant to be somewhat of a take on a Vietnamese banh mi (literally "bread"), which is a type of sandwich that typically features some form or protein, pickled vegetables, pate, fresh cilantro, and mayo on a Vietnamese-style baguette (it has an airier, less chewy crumb). Gochujang is a Korean sweet and spicy red chili sauce.
The sandwiches are available for a limited time with a price tag of $4.99 each (may vary). A combo with fries and a drink will run you around $7 or so (may vary).
The sandwiches were spotted in test late last year.
