The new line differs from their other almond offerings in that the almonds skins are peeled for a smoother surface texture. The almonds are then roasted, seasoned, and cured with various herbs and/or spices depending on the flavor.
Blue Diamond Crafted Gourmet Almonds come in four varieties: Pink Himalayan Salt; Black Truffle; Herb and Olive Oil; and Rosemary and Sea Salt.
They're positioning these as more for special occasions and suggest paring them with foods like cheese, charcuterie, and olives (rather than chips or pretzels I suppose).
You can find the new line at major retailers nationwide starting this month.
