The new donut features a yeast ring donut that's run under a waterfall of lemon glaze rather than Krispy Kreme's signature Original Glaze. The chain describes the flavors as balancing "the freshness of real lemon, the brightness of citrus, and the sweetness of Krispy Kreme’s iconic Original Glazed Donut."
The Lemon Glaze Donut will be available at participating Krispy Kreme shops in the US and Canada. It comes as a result of a fan vote that saw it beat out blueberry, caramel, and maple.
