2018 National Donut Day Deals and Contests

National Donut Day is coming up on Friday, June 1, 2018. Here are some deals/freebies to help you celebrate as well as a couple of contests in case you're feeling lucky.

Deals:

- Dunkin' Donuts - On June 1, 2018, get a free classic donut of your choice with the purchase of any beverage at participating locations.

- Krispy Kreme - One June 1, 2018, get a free donut of your choice at participating locations. No purchase required.

- Shipley Do-nuts - One free glazed donut with purchase on Friday, June 1, 2018 at participating locations from 5 AM to 12 PM.

- Walmart - Free glazed donuts on Friday, June 1, 2018 at all US locations.

Contests:

- Entenmann's - They're searching for a "Chief Donut Officer" and you can apply here. Besides the title, up for grabs is $5,000, some Entenmann's-branded gear, and a year's supply of donuts. You can find the full rules on their website here.

- Tim Hortons - On June 1, 2018, the first in-restaurant guest after 6 AM to ask for "Gold Timbits" (you don't actually have to order anything) at each of five specially selected US restaurants in Buffalo, NY, Columbus, OH, and Detroit, MI will get free 24k edible gold-covered Timbits donut holes and free donuts for a year. You're flying blind a bit as they don't actually mention which locations in those cities are the five that will have the prize. You can find the full rules here.
