The new menu item takes the Cheesy Gordita Crunch (which is essentially a crunchy taco with spicy ranch sauce nestled inside of a folded soft Gordita shell with a layer of three-cheese blend holding the two shells together) and adds a portion of seasoned beef between the taco shell and Gordita flatbread (which is good for double the beef of the original).
The suggested price of the new Double Cheesy Gordita Crunch is $3.49 (which compares pretty nicely to the $3.19 of the regular Cheesy Gordita Crunch) but you can also get it in a $5 Box combo along with two crunchy tacos and a medium fountain drink (so that you're basically paying an extra $1.51 for two tacos and a drink).
Usually the addition of a new limited-time item at Taco Bell leads to the discontinuation of the previous limited-time time but fans of Nacho Fries will be happy to learn that they're sticking around until mid-September.
